Cuckolds Keepers Quarters Exterior Completed

Kudos to Marden Builders who completed the Keepers Quarters exterior on schedule, and began the interior work ahead of schedule. The Light Station is buttoned up for winter. "Hats off" to Hancock Lumber for their continuing generous assistance. And a big "Thank You" to all who are making this possible.

Cuckolds is making national news! The Cuckolds Rescue is featured in December issue of Soundings Magazine. Cuckolds Rebirth appears in October issue of Lighthouse Digest, with an update in Nov/Dec Lighthouse Digest as well.
Cuckolds Volunteer Corps is Strong and Growing

We thank our many volunteers who lend their talents to the Rescue. Mike Mayne's Edgecomb Boatworks repaired a Cuckolds launch and installed a new engine, charging nothing for their labor. Steve Malcom's Knickerbocker Woodworking is contributing mahogany exterior doors. Jeff Blaisdell of Kidder Blaisdell Woodworks Corp. is contributing custom millwork for the interior. Sietske Turndorf, interior design and space planning specialist, is leading work on interior furnishing and decorating, with enthusiastic assistance from Tom and Mary Moser of Thomas Moser Furniture.

Cuckolds buttoned up for winter Seeking Seasonal Keepers for Late Summer 2012 and Beyond

Cuckolds Council is seeking two keepers—an incomparable experience for the right people. "Right" means they must be crackerjack mariners, handy with paintbrushes and things mechanical and carpentry-related, and great concierges and hosts who can create memories for our guests.
