If you've ever wondered what it's like to live in a Lighthouse, you will soon be able to see for yourself at the Cuckolds. You will step back in time, and walk to the top of the tower, where Lighthouse Keepers lived and worked for more than 80 years.
But the Cuckolds Fog Signal & Light Station is more than a Lighthouse. Whether your interest is maritime history and tradition, environmental education, coastal navigation, maritime safety, or simply the drama, quietude, and sheer beauty of the Maine coast, membership in the Cuckolds is an adventure waiting to unfold.
Your membership in the Cuckolds Fog Signal & Light Station will help to sustain this community-wide volunteer-led restoration; youth development programs; the restored Keepers' Quarters, picnic grounds and campsites, for overnight stays on your own rustic island.
